Recycling Guidelines

NOTE: All of our curb side recycling will be changing over to our more efficient Single Stream Recycling soon. We will send each of our customers a letter with the Single Stream Recycling details and notifying you as to when you will receive your new Single Stream cart and when this change happen. DON'T RECYCLE

PAPER

Including newspaper, inserts, advertising flyers, magazines, envelopes, and junk-mail.

• Tie in bundles or put in paper grocery bags(Don't use plastic bags!)

• Put in recycling bin on top of cans and bottles, or next to bin if there is no room in it.
• Dirty or contaminated newspaper.

• Dirty or contaminated (food waste, etc.) papers, paper towels, etc.
CARDBOARD

Including all types of cardboard, fiber board, cereal boxes, etc. .
• Flatten Boxes

• Cut large pieces to smaller than 2ft by 2ft

• Tie in bundles

•Put in recycling bin on top of cans and bottles, or next to bin if there is no room.
• Dirty or contaminated cardboard.

• Wax or plastic coated cardboard.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
CONTAINERS

Including:

• Glass Bottles

• Plastic Bottles
(PETE & HDPE only)

• Tin Cans
(no aerosol cans)

• Aluminum Cans

• Aluminum Foil

• Aluminum Food Trays

•Wash containers

•Labels and neck rings DON'T have to be removed

•DON'T break bottles

•Look at Bottom of plastic for classification. (PETE & HDPE)

•Put in bottom of recycling bin, no sorting needed.

• Put excess in paper bags next to bin(DON'T use plastic bags)

NOTE: plastic bottles can be clear or colored and include detergent bottles, bleach bottles, shampoo bottles, etc.

• Automotive Fluid Cont. (e.g.. oil, antifreeze, etc.)

• Aerosol(spray) cans

• Bottle Caps

• Food & beverage containers NOT made of glass, tin, aluminum, or plastic(PETE & HDPE)

• Containers larger than 1 gallon

• Other cans or glass bottles(paint cans, medicine bottles, etc.)

• Other glass items(light bulbs, window glass, dishes, etc.)

• Other plastic items(toys, etc.)

• Other metal items(pots, pans, coat hangers, toasters, etc.)

• Ceramic items(bottles, dishes, flower pots, etc.)
REMINDER: All Non-Recyclable Items WILL Be Left In Recycling Bin.
